Greetings!

On behalf of the organising committee, I am pleased to announce that the QIU Intervarsity Science Symposium 2024 (QISS 2024) will be held on 30 November 2024 and 1 December 2024 at Quest International University. This event is jointly organised by the Faculty of Integrated Life Sciences, Quest International University (QIU) as well as the Centre for Agriculture and Food Research (CAFR) and Faculty of Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR).

The theme for this year’s symposium is “Beyond Barriers: Interdisciplinary Approaches in Shaping the Future of Science.” QISS 2024 is dedicated to all forms of research in the field of Agriculture, Food Security, Green Chemistry, Technology, Environment, Biotechnology and Health Sciences. We aim to provide an enriching networking experience for students, researchers, and academicians in knowledge sharing and potential collaborations. 

QISS 2024 will feature technical sessions that comprise of keynote and invited speakers as well as oral, poster and Splash presentations. We hope that the planned sessions will ignite a passion for research and discovery among budding scientists, and promote future collaborations while bridging the gap between researchers and industry players. 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the speakers, panel of judges, sponsors and participants for their contributions to the success of this symposium. Our committee will strive to ensure that all participants experience rewarding and enjoyable moments at QISS 2024.
