Programme Level

Students will be challenged to think critically, reassess their management styles, develop sound strategic plans and communicate effectively. Learning will take place via lectures, discussions, seminars and case studies, including meeting and engaging with industry experts.

Graduates would find employment as managers, executives and officers in a variety of areas such as business, finance, market research, sales and human resource management.

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in related fields* with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the QIU Senate;

    OR

  2. A Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment;

    OR

  3. A Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the QIU Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment;

    OR

  4.  A Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the QIU Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses**;

    OR

  5. Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree recognised by the Malaysian Government.

*A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields includes a degree in the following areas:

  • Business Administration
  • Business Management
  • Commerce
  • Human Resource Management
  • Marketing
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • International Business
  • ACCA

**Applicants that do not have a bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields will need to undergo and secure a ‘pass’ in one or more of the following prerequisite courses::

  • Principles of Management
  • Principles of Accounting and Finance
  • Business Economics

International students: IELTS Band 6.0 / MUET Band 4 or its equivalent
