| MUET | Malaysia University English Test(MUET) Band 2; AND |
| STPM | A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (SPTM) with a minimum grade C+ (GP2.33) in any two subjects, and credits in three subjects including Mathematics and English at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or |
| A-Level | A pass in A-Level with a minimum of full passes in two subjects, and credits in three subjects including credit in Mathematics and pass in English at SPM level/ GCE O-Level, or |
| UEC | A pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum grade B in five subjects including Mathematics and English; or |
| Diploma | A Diploma in Accounting (level 4 MQF) or related field, or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, or |
| Matriculation/Foundation | Matriculation/ Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and credits in mathematics at SPM level, or |
| CAT/Foundation in Accountancy | A pass in Certified Accounting Technicians (CAT) / ACCA Foundation in Accountancy, |
| Other Qualification | Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government and subject to ACCA approval. |
Note: Mathematics credit requirements at the SPM level for candidates (I) and (v) can be exempt if the qualification includes mathematics subjects and his achievement is equal to/more than the credit requirement of such subject on the SPM level.
