{"id":1958,"date":"2025-09-02T06:33:24","date_gmt":"2025-09-02T06:33:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qiu.edu.my\/english-language-centre\/?post_type=english-program&#038;p=1958"},"modified":"2025-09-24T00:51:33","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T00:51:33","slug":"flyers","status":"publish","type":"english-program","link":"https:\/\/qiu.edu.my\/english-language-centre\/english-programmes\/flyers\/","title":{"rendered":"Flyers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The third and last level of the Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Age &amp; Learning Time:<\/strong> Targeted at <strong>9\u201312-year-olds<\/strong>, with about <strong>120 hours of study<\/strong> after Movers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purpose:<\/strong> Flyers is the highest level in the YLE suite and shows that a child is becoming a more confident, independent English user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills Assessed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Listening &amp; Reading:<\/strong> Understanding short spoken narratives and written stories, recognising time references, and following simple explanations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Speaking:<\/strong> Using past tense, asking and answering basic questions, describing pictures or sequences of events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Writing:<\/strong> Producing simple descriptions, short notes, or very short stories while linking ideas with connectors such as <strong><em>and, then, because<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Outcome:<\/strong> Flyers demonstrates readiness to progress to teenage or adult exams such as <strong>A2 Key for Schools<\/strong>, helping children transition smoothly into higher levels of English learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The third and last level of the Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners.
